Technical Information

All hardware, firmware and application software is developed in-house by a full-time development team committed to providing integrated solutions.

 

Hardware

  • Designed by timeware development team.
  • A range of data collection terminals are available incorporating:
  • Magstripe, barcode and various proximity standards.
  • TCP/IP as standard (IEEE allocation 00:02:E5 see www.ethereal.com/distribution/manuf.txt)
  • Each terminal may be allocated an IP address, subnet mask and default gateway.
  • RS232 also as standard at 9600 bps.
  • A biometric solution is available incorporating Sony's FIU (fingerprint identification technology).
  • Secondary reader inputs including TTL and Serial.

Software

  • Designed by timeware development team to relevant Microsoft standards.
  • Supports database formats: SQL 2000/2005 and MSDE 2000.
  • Incorporates Installshield Digital Wizard Update Service.
