BioStar 2 is a web-based, open, and integrated security platform that provides comprehensive functionality for access control, time & attendance management, visitor management, and video log maintenance. It encrypts all personal data available and supports both SDKs and web APIs to integrate BioStar 2 with third-party software. In addition, users can control BioStar 2 platform remotely with the mobile app for BioStar 2 and manage a mobile access card that you can use to access sites.


timeware® has developed an integration that sits seamlessly between timeware® Professional and the BioStar 2 Se4curity Platform.

This integration eliminates ‘duplicate entry’ and allows employees and some basic credentials created in BioStar 2 to be passed directly to timeware®.

An administrator can specify which BioStar 2 readers are classed as attendance points and bookings made at these points can be read by timeware® from the BioStar 2 database and processed by timeware® as attendance bookings. This method means that a BioStar 2 user can benefit from a timeware® installation without the need to purchase additional attendance devices.
