timeware® is one of the UK’s leading workforce management software specialists. With four decades of experience and more than 7,500 installations across the UK, Ireland and Sub-Saharan Africa, we have built our reputation on reliability, innovation and long term customer relationships.
Our full time UK team manages implementation, training and ongoing support, giving you direct access to experienced people who know timeware® inside out.
More than 75% of our new business comes through referrals from existing customers, and many have worked with us for more than twenty years. That loyalty is something we work to earn every day.

Four decades in workforce management.
1986
The beginning of an idea
Our first workforce time management software designed for PDP/11 mini computer called TAS: Time Attendance Software.
1989
timeware® II & timemaster terminal
Release of the first DOS-based timeware® software and support for single proprietary mag-stripe clocking terminal.
1991
timeware® III & multiplexer
Release of timeware® III software supporting up to 16 proprietary mag-stripe clocking terminals.
1994
timeware® IV
Release of timeware® IV software incorporating Personnel module, attendance, and job costing.
1997
timeware® 5 & network compatible timemaster terminal
Release of the first Windows compatible version of timeware® software.
2001
timeware® 6
Release of SQL-compatible software.
2008
timeware® Professional 2008
Start of annual software updates, putting the customer first.
2017
Partnership with Suprema Inc.
Software now integrates with world-class face-authentication and fingerprint devices.
2021
Employee Self-Service
The ESS app puts leave, shifts and timesheets in employees’ pockets on iOS and Android.
2022
The cloud platform begins
Development of timeware® HRMS starts in-house, built by the same team behind timeware® Professional.
