Do we have to replace InVentry?
No. InVentry stays exactly as it is, running your front-of-house sign-in. A small timeware® agent on your network connects it to the cloud.
What firewall changes are needed?
None inbound. The agent makes outbound HTTPS (port 443) connections only, no open ports, no VPN.
What happens if the site loses internet?
InVentry keeps recording. When the connection returns, the agent picks up exactly where it left off and every event is de-duplicated, nothing is lost and nothing is double-counted.
Do visitors appear in timeware®?
Yes. Visitor and contractor sign-ins join the live roll call, so an evacuation list covers everyone on site, not just staff.
Which InVentry versions are supported?
The integration is compatible with InVentry version 4.11.0 onwards.
How is the integration licensed?
Each integration is enabled by an annual licence, included in your timeware® agreement and supported as part of the managed service.
