Do we need BioStar 2 middleware?
No. timeware® talks to Suprema devices directly through Suprema’s own gateway protocol, so clockings stream into timesheets in real time with no middleware layer to license or maintain.
What happens if the connection drops?
Devices keep working and store their events. When the connection returns, timeware® recovers every missed event from the device’s own log and de-duplicates, so nothing is lost and nothing is double-counted.
Does an employee have to enrol on every device?
No. Enrol face, fingerprint or card once on any device and timeware® syncs the credentials to every device that employee is assigned to.
What happens when someone leaves?
The HR record drives the devices. When an employment ends, the employee is removed from every device automatically, no site visits, no forgotten fobs.
How is the integration licensed?
Each integration is enabled by an annual licence, included in your timeware® agreement and supported as part of the managed service.
