Key functions
Attach a workflow to any of 25 HR record types, disciplinaries, grievances, reviews, DBS checks, exit interviews and more.
Tasks carry a priority, a stage and a day offset, so the sequence runs itself.
Meetings are scheduled automatically, format, duration, location and whether the employee is invited.
Letter templates and documents travel with the workflow.
Set a default workflow per record type and it applies every time.
Hire to retire

Employment policies: the biggest workflow of all.

Every employment follows a policy, its stages, its compliance tasks and the status changes that fire at each milestone. Critical tasks block progression until they’re complete, and milestones like the first day of work or the end of probation change the employee’s status automatically.

Questions

Workflows, answered.

What can a workflow be attached to?
Any of 25 HR record types, including disciplinaries, grievances, reviews, accidents, DBS checks, driving licences, courses and exit interviews. A default workflow per type applies automatically.
What does a workflow contain?
A sequence of tasks and meetings, each with a day offset from when the workflow is applied, plus comments and attached documents such as letter templates.
How do employment policies fit in?
They are the lifecycle workflow: pre-employment, onboarding and offboarding stages with compliance tasks. Milestones such as the first day of work trigger status changes automatically.
Can tasks block progression?
Yes. Policy tasks marked as prerequisites, such as right to work, must be completed before the employment can move to the next stage.
